Cobra
At South Orlando Babe Ruth our mission is League Ball first. We participate in All Stars at the end of each Spring. We follow formal processes for the formation of the Regular Season and All Star teams.
Our league tries to support these teams with practice space, and insurance. The rest is up to the teams to acquire uniforms, pay for registrations for COBRA, tournaments, and other.
Each season the baseball divisions may already have teams formed, invite individual players or have open tryouts to form these teams.
As a league we keep league ball first, and we stay watchful that the Advanced Baseball teams are not hurting our CORE league ball teams.
Advanced Baseball players, coaches, and teams do not automatically become our All Stars.
Advanced Baseball teams are a good way to give those willing to invest time and effort extra baseball
Game Schedules
Southport Quad Lock-Up Procedures
>>If you are not the Last team leaving, please check with the remaining team that they know how to lock-up the fields as listed below<<
- Make sure everyone is out of the bathrooms and lock them using the key next to the golf cart. Put the key back when finished.
- Close the overhead door where the golf cart is.
- Lock the gate that leads to the Golf Cart.
- Check the fields and make sure all the pitching machines and Tees have been stored in the shed by the T-Ball Fields.
- Check to make sure the shed by the T-Ball field is locked.
- Make Sure the Gate between the T-Ball and Softball Field is closed and locked.
- Make sure the gate to the snack shack is locked.
- Shut off and lock the lights to the fields (If Need to unlock the Lock Key is on the bat with the Bathroom Key)
- Lock the main gate as you leave the fields.
Southport Deuce Lock-Up Procedures

- Make sure everyone is out of the bathrooms and lock them using the pad lock.
- Make sure the shed is locked by the batting.
- Lock the gate leading to the batting cage.
- Lock the dugouts for the Majors Field.
- Lock the dugouts for the 13-16+ Field.
McCoy Quad Lock-Up Procedures

- Make sure all of the pitching machines are put away just inside the door to go upstairs.
- Verify all the dugouts are locked for each field Lockup Procedure.
